There are two types of fee Charged by Canadian Immigration Authorities:

Visa Processing Fees and Right of Landing Fees.

PROCESSING FEES:

For applicants, including dependent, above 19 years Rs. 14250/- (C$ 500)per person.

For dependent below 19 years Rs. 2850/- (C$100) per child.

 

LANDING FEES:

Right of landing Fees For applicants, including dependents above 19 years Rs.27,800/-(C$975) per person.

PROCESSING FEES:

(I) For the Principal Applicant cdn $ 550  
(II) For each applicants dependent, above 21  years cdn $ 550
(III) For each dependents below 21 years cdn $ 150

 

LANDING FEES:

For each applicants, including spouse and dependent children above 21 years is cdn $490

 

NO RIGHT OF LANDING FEES IS PAYABLE FOR DEPENDENTS BELOW 21 YEARS.

Visa processing fees is payable to the Immigration Authorities in the form of bank draft or by credit card at the time of submitting the petition. These fees are to be paid in canadin dollars only.

 

Right of landing fees is Cdn $ 490 and applicable to all the applicants over 21 years. This has to be pais in Indian Ruppes value only by bank draft or credit card only.

 

Right of landing fees is refundable in case of an immigration petition being unsuccessful, if paid up front. Whereas Visa Processing fees is non-refundable after certain extent.

 

Post Landing:

 

To apply for Health card, authorities need a copy of the rent deed of rented accommodation and proof of bank account. House owners are apprehensive in renting out properties to new immigrants due to lack of credit history and not having the job and reference checks. Is at all a few agree, then two months rent with one-month security is taken. If the immigrant moves out prior to staying for the period of rental agreement (usually 6-12 months) due to his job being far way then he per-force loses the advance. Renting an accommodation closer to job place, furnishing it and to have access to other basic amenities costs the immigrant quite a substantial amount.
